A Feel Good Movie
Musicals always make me feel good. I found the characters interesting and even though the music maybe out of date now, for those of us who love old movies, the music is still great.
The basic plot has been used over and over, rich boy hides that he’s rich to get the girl of his dreams.
John Mills has always been one of my favorite actors and it was nice to see him so young.
I liked it the first time I watched it and also after the third time. If you want to feel good don’t miss this one.

If you like musicals with old timey feel...
You'll enjoy this. I've never really been a big fan of musicals, but I liked this one. The music is very out of style these days and might even seem foreign in some ways. The acting is pretty good even if the plot is somewhat predictable, but this was made at a time when easing the pain of the depression was seen as more important i suppose. It tosses in every young woman’s fantasy of having the rich dashing young man sweep her off her feet and ends in a car ride through the clouds.
